Mike Glennon is a Dublin based composer and visual artist. As a member of the band the 202s his music has been released to positive critical response across Europe by Harmonia Mundi/Le Son Du Maquis making him labelmates with artists such as Cluster, Faust and A Certain Ratio. More recently his compositions have featured in events such as the Pixel Pops festivals in Wales and Columbia and Dublin’s ‘Describing
Architecture’ exhibition.

‘TBC’ is an electronic composition which aims to combine elements of
the sparse beauty of composers such as Arvo Part with the ambient
noise aesthetic of artists such as Fennesz and Tim Hecker. The piece
employs compositional techniques inspired by the study of Part’s tintinnabuli technique and realises them within an electronic environment concerned with the intersection of noise melody and dissonance. It is accompanied by a bespoke visual presentation utilising generative software processes to map musical to visual parameters creating imagery analogous to input audio.
